Introduction
When you as manager delegate a job to someone.....
and they don¡¯t do it.....
what do you do then?
I have asked this question to countless managers over the years, and have heard a variety of answers, such as:
? I tell them again, to go and do it
? I yell at them to go and do it
? I go with them to the job and stand over them while they do it
? I get someone else to do it
? I do it myself
? I ask why and discuss it
? I send them to a training course, even if they have done it before
? It doesn¡¯t get done
