POSITION SUMMARY

1. Monitor the investment portfolio of China entities, including WOFE, JV and other investment

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Work closely with senior management of invested portfolio companies to ensure smooth execution of company investment strategy, able to provide guidance and support for rectification measures
2. Work closely with Development Officers to align external parties’ (partners, government and other organization) interests with company ones
3. Evaluate, execute and manage invested entities and other strategic transactions.

5. Colleagues of CHO especially Development Officers; colleagues in other BU/SBU/SBG for investment projects.

8. Government and other organizations impacting the businesses
9. Proper execution of investment strategy by invested entities in China
10. Improve in performance of invested entities in terms of KPI set in strategy and investment papers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor’s degree in economics / Finance / business with excellent grades in top schools in China
2. 5~10 years experience in operations or business development in sino-foreign JVs in China
3. 3+ experience in similar capacity
4. Strong business senses
5. Ability to connect and motivate local Chinese staff of all levels
6. Ability to work under pressure and face challenges?
7. Ability to coach and direct work for sub-ordinates
8. Ability to work as project leader to lead colleagues from different units and make sure things under control
9. Ability to work independently with minimum support and guidance
