Be a leading industry provider of turn-key environmental solutions particularly high temperature and exhaust systems and wastewater treatment systems. The firm provides project definition and preliminary design, detailed engineering and construction, plant commissioning and start-up, operations and project management.

JOBLOCATION

 

Shanghai

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Provide technical design and engineering details for incineration and high temperature systems e.g. burning chamber, burners, combustion air supply, fuel train, in the Exhaust Technology Division;
  2. Define requirements of high temperature systems, generate technical specifications and datasheets for high temperature packaged units, process equipment;
  3. Evaluate technical details from burner/boiler/auxiliaries suppliers and manage suppliers fabrication standards;
  4. Study and review process simulations, PFD¡¯s, P&ID¡¯s, material, quantity and energy balances, utility and consumable balances
  5. Raise technical competence of the high temperature discipline;
  6. Provide technical inputs to the process / basic engineering design in support of sales/tender efforts;
  7. Review tender specifications, and check proposals meet technical requirements, perform economic evaluation if required;?
  8. Participate in design reviews and clarifications at the early stages of process and basic engineering works;
  9. Participate in HAZOP studies if required;
  10. Provide technical support during fabrication and erection, training, commissioning and start-up activities;
  11. Identify potential technology partners to enhance and complement atea¡¯s capability.
  12. Prepare report to H-PD on bi-weekly basis.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Require minimum 6-10 years experience and mechanical knowledge on design and safety features of incinerators, boilers, high temperature and energy exchange systems, flares, tank vents exhaust systems, etc;
  2. Possesses strong background in thermal process technology, heat and mass transfer, process control;
  3. Bachelors degree or higher in chemical / process / mechanical engineering;
  4. Good knowledge of both local and international codes, standards and regulations;
  5. Strong background in equipment fabrication and programs an advantage;
  6. Good written and spoken English to technical details;
  7. Willing to travel periodically.
