Report to CAD Design Manager

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ability to think creatively and to further develop designs, sketches and concepts based upon existing designs or new ones and to prepare engineering drawings;
Ability to take basic design information and develop detailed plant layouts and arrangements;
Independent and able to work with minimum supervision;
Able to take on project-based lead-CAD responsibilities;
Ensure that design verification and approvals are carried out in accordance with company procedures and requirements;
Provide on-site support to construction for installation, commissioning and startup;
Assist in supervision and training of new trainees and graduate engineering assistants;
Able to participate in assessment and introduction of new technologies, software applications and the development of design processes.

Minimum 4 years relevant working experience in the environmental technology, oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical industries;
Proficient in AutoCAD;
Proven effective communication and coordination skills and team work;
Knowledge of 3D CAD systems, CADWorx Plant Pro is an advantage;
Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related discipline;
Good knowledge of local and international codes, standards and regulations;
