Founded in 1958, our client is a German-based industrial group, focusing on the manufacturing and research & development of telecommunication products, serving customers in over 160 countries.

In the circumstances that it established the headquarter in Asia and the business demands increased rapidly in Asian countries, our client desired to occupy the whole market at a full speed. Due to the nature of its business, the board needed to seed an expertise organization consisting of a batch of executives with the combination of technology and business expansion.Another key qualification our client desires was the spirit of overcoming ever-encountered difficulties in suburban areas of developing countries.

Action

Having defined the job with our client, we got insight of all the characteristic of the position. The most complicated search procedure was to identify what type of industry field we should conduct searches into. The products of our client are unique from all the other co-called competitors, which seemed to give us clues that there lacked the right fits in such a field.

Through wide and in-depth communications with various sources we had build up in the 1st class of telecommunication industry, we had been informed that talents with strong market sense in south-east Asia, backed with solid technology knowledge could be our targets, though they showed lacks of the specific products know-hows.

Finally, we presented to client 6 potential prospective candidates, each has international exposures, especially to south-east Asia region, e.g., Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia,etc.

Results
Nowadays, there are altogether three candidates working in Vietnam, Thailand, and Philipeans separately. The south-east Asia's market begins to be under full control of our client.
