| Our client is a US-based manufacture for industrial sector, including flow technology, test &measurement, thermal engineering and industrial technology and services. They needed to recruit a top executive to establish, develop, and manage this newly set-up R&D Center. |

Before we took this vacancy into our assignment, our client had validated their network and range to search the right candidate worldwide in its own industry of automotive-aftermarket. Unfortunately, no candidate qualifies their specific requirements. When the organizations found out that we are specialized in many searches within their industry, they turned us to help them recruit such executive with both technology expertise and strategic management backgrounds.
We therefore created a new channel of search, totally different from the one used by our client itself. Automotive-OEM could be the larger and more-matured talent pool. We then purposely targeted auto-OEM firms and auto-design centers, looking for quality talents who seeked the opportunity to combine their technology expertise with strategic management skills. The candidates were technology experts with P.H.D degree who had solid R&D skills and global market senses, well-versed in operations.
